We created Mosey Mate around a simple idea: everyday movement deserves a companion that feels encouraging without turning health into a competition. The result is a cozy world that grows when you walk.
Why Mosey Mate exists
A step total can be useful, but a number alone is not always something you look forward to. Mosey Mate gives those steps a place to go. They become Step Seeds, move virtual journeys forward, unlock postcards and achievements, and help you create a small world that is visibly yours.
The tone matters as much as the mechanics. Mosey Mate is built around personal goals rather than public rankings, celebration rather than guilt, and lasting collections rather than a feed that disappears. A short walk still contributes. A missed day does not erase what you made.
Our product principles
- Movement should feel inviting. The app uses cozy rewards and friendly check-ins instead of shame or social comparison.
- Free progress should be meaningful. The core walking, journey, and collection experience stands on its own, while Pro provides additional value.
- Privacy should be understandable. The app works without an account, ads, analytics, or behavioral tracking.
- Details should have purpose. Places, animal buddies, postcards, sounds, and celebrations are designed to make real progress feel tangible.
A world built by real walks
Mosey Mate does not need a social network or a remote user profile to make walking feel connected. The relationship is between your real movement and the world on your device. Health and step data stays local, while Apple, Google, and RevenueCat handle the limited store and subscription functions described in the Privacy Policy.
The app will continue to grow with additional journeys, collectibles, and refinements, but the purpose stays the same: provide a gentle reason to move and something satisfying to come home to.
